EIOBoard is offered in two different hosting options. Both versions offer similar features. The major difference is that one is hosted on Savance's EIOBoard.com server, while the other is hosted on an organizations local Intranet server. EIOBoard-Hosted relies on an Internet connection to EIOBoard.com in order to access the board. Customer-Hosted requires you to be connected to your organizations local network or extranet to access the board. With Customer-Hosted, you only pay a one-time fee with support and upgrades optional after the first year at 25% of the price of the software. With EIOBoard-Hosted, you must continue to pay the monthly or annual fee to continue to use the software, which is subject to pricing increases (although you can lock in the current pricing by purchasing extended subscription services in advance).
